Imprisoned within
these bones
and this skin...
Confined by a mind
that is hard
to unwind...
Delayed by the day
this place
and this play...
Compressed by the stress
that turns
into less...
Entrapped in the lap
the warmth
and the wrap...
Entwined by the time
the myth
and the mime...
Destroyed by the voice
that offers
no choice...
